The HeartCarpet is a silk Persian Carpet depicting the stages of embryonic heart development.  Commissioned by Nadia Rosenthal for the cover of "Heart Development" edited by Harvey and Rosenthal, the carpet was given to the Weinstein Conference at Dallas in 2001, to be displayed by the host institution until the next meeting.  Here it is being delivered from Leiden to Tucson by Roger Markwald and Robert Poelmann.
