ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INFORMATION

Click here or on link to the left to submit your abstract

We are having glitches with about 15% of abstract submissions.  While it may be due to betas, umlauts or other special characters, one particular culprit is the % symbol.  Please spell out "percent" rather than use the symbol.  If you get an error message, please remove special characters and save as a text file before pasting into the submission form.  If all else fails, attach your abstract to an email to Ms. Jacque Parker (on contact page).

Deadlines for abstract submssions are as follows:

April 1, 2005 for Platform Consideration.

April 18, 2005 for Inclusion in the Printed Program.

The local arrangements committee will select from abstracts to create topical platform sessions and to highlight research they find interesting.  Some preference is given to those who have not been chosen to speak during the previous two years and to students and junior faculty.

Posters will remain up for the entire meeting and extensive discussion time will be programmed.  All abstract submitters, including those chosen for platform presentations, are requested to prepare posters so that more detailed discussions of data can be had during the extended poster discussion sessions.

Abstracts submitted after April 1 will be included in the program if received prior to submission of the program to the printer (April 81).  In early May, all registered meeting participants will receive a password to view the abstracts.  Additional posterboards will be available for those who choose to bring posters to the meeting at the last minute.

Abstracts are limited to 300 words exclusive of title and authors.

Poster Info

Posters will be posted on shared 8 ft by 4 ft posterboards.  Prepare your poster with a maximum width of 46 inches (1.19m).
